Travelling is a wonderful thing to do. Whether it’s by plane, train, or car, a nice trip or vacation can do wonders for people. Some of us spend a lot of time in our vehicles because of a lot of travel. However, even if you only go to work or drive daily, things can affect your vehicle.

Specifically, odors can grow in your car or truck without doing very much at all. Sweat is a big factor, considering it can get pretty hot in these boxes of metal! This can cause a lot offensive odors to crop up inside, but there are ways to get rid of it.

Ozone generators can do a lot with odors in your car. Even if it’s from just beverages, pets, or smoking, it can still do wonders. There are bacteria that cause these bad smells, but ozone kills this bacteria. It is dangerous to breathe, though, so be sure to use it while you’re not in the vehicle.

Make sure there are no pets or plants in as well, and it’s always wise to take electronics and other things out. The smells will be gone after 1-2 hours of use in your vehicle. An ozone generator can be set outside with a hose running into your vehicle, just make sure you block off the rest of the window. After another 1-2 hours, the ozone will dissipate and the air will become breathable again.
