Cleaning your gutters is an important role in keeping the exterior of your residence. Unless your system for eliminating water off the surface of your roof is “self-cleaning" then you're going to need to wash them yourself or have them gutter cleaning by a trained practitioner.

You have to make sure your gutters are as clean as possible to:
* Make sure the rainwater flows in a downward spiral with No obstruction
* Protect your roof from eroding so that it lasts a very long time (roof repairs are costly)
While the whole process isn't the most entertaining thing on earth it will prevent you from having unnecessary headaches in the long run. Trust me, there's nothing that will ruin your day more than finding out you will need to spend $10,000 to receive your roof repaired or re-shingled.
Something you want to know about is safety.
You're not working at floor level so additional precaution is required to avoid accidents. Wear proper boots that won't slip along with appropriate gloves and goggles. Most likely, you're likely to use a ladder so be certain that you have one that's sturdy and you firmly planted into the ground.
Bear in mind the ladder can bend the gutter as soon as you put weight on it so you would like to avoid doing this if possible.
